Alexi Ashe Meyers is a human rights attorney in the United States who is currently associated with Sanctuary for Families, a prominent service provider and advocate for victims and survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and other forms of gender based violence. She is the wife of Seth Meyers, a comedian and television host.

Alexi Ashe is 39 years old. She was born in New Mexico on April 1, 1983, to Joan and Tom Ashe. Ariel, her sister, is an interior designer and founder of the design company Ashe + Leandro with designer Reinaldo Leandro. Albuquerque is where the sisters grew up.
Ashe attended Occidental College in 2002 after graduating from high school, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and government. She graduated in 2006 and moved to law school at Southwestern University in 2009. In 2011, Ashe got her Doctorate of Law in international human rights.

From March 2007 to April 2009, she worked as a policy and research analyst at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office after graduating from college and before joining law school. Her responsibilities there included assisting in the development of violence prevention curricula for middle school students, conducting truancy proceedings in LAUSD, serving on a child sexual abuse death review panel, as well as hosting society presentations at local police voting areas. She worked as a legal intern at Somaly Mam Foundation from April to June 2011, where she wrote a legal framework for lawyers using civil lawsuits against human traffickers.
She eventually moved from Los Angeles to New York City, where she worked as a pro bono assistant district attorney for the King’s County District Attorney’s Office in 2011. In the Human Trafficking Unit, she supervises inquiry into long-term complex criminal charges and prepared legal motions and memos of law.
She started to work as a refugee representation legal apprentice at Human Rights First from December 2011 to February 2012, interviewing people with both clients and lawyers to document their experiences with the US refugee process. Alexi has also conducted a study on international protection protocols for victims of sex trafficking and domestic abuse. She started a new job in April 2012 as a legal counsel and compliance officer at AC Investment Management, a New York-based investment firm.
Alexi Ashe: Rise to prominence
She began working as a grants writer and legal trainee at WorldWide Orphan Foundation in Maplewood, New Jersey, after deciding to leave AC Investment in December 2012. Alexi travelled to Haiti as part of WWOF to explore different programme models, draft grants, and retain fundraising events. She joined the advisory board of Journeys in Film, an initiative that uses film to spread awareness, in January 2013.
In July 2013, Ashe was hired as an assistant attorney general at the King’s Country District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, New York, where she worked in the Special Victims Bureau and the Human Trafficking Bureau.

Alexi gained fame after tying the knot with Seth Meyers. They met at Chris Kattan’s wedding ceremony in June 2008, and their marriage took place on September 1st, 2013 on Marhta’s Vineyard.
The couple has 2 sons, Ashe Olsen Meyers and Axel Strahl Meyers – Alexi gave birth to their second child in the lobby of their apartment building – and she has raised them in Jewish tradition.
